Your function

At ABC – Anglo Belgian Corporation, the Legal Contract Manager plays a key operational role in supporting complex international projects from contract drafting to execution and follow-up. Working in close collaboration with engineering, project management and finance, you will act as a trusted legal business partner throughout the full project lifecycle.

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts for tailor-made industrial projects
• Providing legal support during the offer phase, project execution and service phase, with a strong focus on guarantees, liability and penalty clauses
• Actively participating in contract negotiations together with project managers and engineers, both on-site and at client premises
• Supporting and monitoring nuclear and other high-complexity projects with heightened safety, compliance and documentation requirements
• Performing legal risk assessments and advising on compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks
• Following up on contractual issues, disputes and guarantee cases in close coordination with finance and external counsel
• Contributing to the standardisation and optimisation of contract templates and internal processes
• Acting as a hands-on, visible presence within the organisation and mentoring junior or supporting profiles over time.

Your profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in contract management or a similar legal role within an industrial, engineering or project-driven environment
• Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex B2B contracts
• Experience with international projects and cross-border contractual frameworks; knowledge of UK law is a plus
• Trilingual profile required: fluent Dutch, English and French
• Hands-on, pragmatic and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate in a production environment
• Strong communication skills and commercial flair, able to balance legal rigour with business reality
• Comfortable working closely with engineers, project managers and finance stakeholders
• Full-time availability and willingness to be present and involved on-site.
